Whilst her passion is creating the perfect head piece, she is also focused on your creating the whole ensemble.Time and effort go into the whole outfit. Attention to detail is key in Mimi's eyes. Even down to how the hat would be transported and the practicalities and implications of flying.Before I met Mimi, I thought that an outfit, as mother of the groom, was all about getting the right dress. By the time Mimi had finished with me I realised that it was about the whole look and the hat was the crowning glory! It took time to find the appropriate and co-ordinating accessories when they were not all made to match. We had numerous consultations and Mimi worked with the colours and the style of the dress as well as the shape and contours of my face. Mimi is also very astute at gauging the level of confidence with wearing a hat! Mimi pondered, moulded, shaped, trimmed, enhanced, embellished and surprised! Watching the creation evolve was such a wonderful experience and I couldn't wait to wear the whole outfit. In fact I cant wait for the next occasion to go on another journey.
